Are you tired of making the same old plain puri? You can experiment with the recipes by kneading the dough with spices and vegetable puree. This palak puri recipe is what you need to add the green hue to the Ashtami or Navami spread.

Ingredients

2 cups wheat flour 1 cup palak puree Water as needed Oil for frying

Step 1

Take out wheat flour in a large bowl.

Step 2

Black spinach leaves and blend them with ice into a smooth puree.

Step 3

Add this puree to the bowl and knead the dough.

Step 4

Add water to the flour as much as needed to prepare a soft and tight dough.

Step 5

While you divide the dough into small spheres, let ghee or oil heat in the kadhai.

Step 6

Roll small doughs into puri and deep-fry them. Palak puris are ready to be served.
