Swap crisping up store-bought tortillas or the overly salted nachos from a packet with these healthy, air-fried nacho chips – to enjoy with cheese sauce and salsa.
1 cup water 4 tablespoons wheat flour 1 cup makki atta 1 pinch turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon baking soda Salt, to taste
Mix together the makki atta, turmeric powder, baking soda and salt.
Bring the water to a simmer in a pan and add the dry mixture.
Continue to stir until the mixture comes together to form a dough.
Cover the pan with a lid and allow it to steam for 6-8 minutes.
Remove the dough into a bowl and knead with the wheat flour when still warm.
Rest for 10 minutes and roll out into a thin, ¼-inch thick sheet.
Cut into triangles with a knife and place each piece in the air fryer to cook at 160 degrees for 8 minutes.
Cool and serve at room temperature with cheese sauce and salsa.
