Juicy, sweet, and packed with nutrients, this tropical fruit salad is quick to prepare and perfect for rainy weather. It's a healthy and delicious addition to your regular recipe repertoire.
2 ripe mangoes 2 medium-sized bananas 2-3 medium-sized chikoo (optional) 1 small or ½ large papaya ⅓ cup chopped strawberries or 10-12 strawberries 3-4 fresh figs ⅓ cup pomegranate arils or 1 small pomegranate 2 tbsp chopped cashews and almonds (optional)
Rinse all the fruits thoroughly and drain the water completely. Remove any inedible seeds, stems, or peels, and chop all the fruits into similar-sized pieces.
Chop the nuts like almonds, cashews, and pistachios. You can roast them lightly for deeper flavour.
Peel and chop the bananas just before mixing with other fruits to prevent browning.
Add the chopped fruits, pomegranate arils, and chopped nuts into a large salad bowl.
Drizzle honey or your preferred sweetener over the salad. Mix gently to combine. Serve immediately for the best taste.
