2 cups AP flour 2 tsp dry yeast 1 cup sugar ½ tsp salt 250 ml milk 4 tbsp butter 1½ cup grated coconut ¾ cup tutti fruity ¼ cup cashews 10 cherries 1 tsp cardamom powder.

Add the flour, sugar, salt, yeast to a mixing bowl. Pour warm milk over it and knead it into a slightly sticky dough. Drizzle in some butter and mix well. Cover and let it sit in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours till it doubles in size.

Add the coconut and sugar to a blender and blend them till it resembles a coarse mixture.

In a bowl, add coconut mix, tutti fruity, chopped cherries, nuts, cardamom powder and butter and mix well.

Line a baking tray with foil and grease it well with butter.

Once the dough has risen, punch it back down and knead well for a minute. Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll it into a circle. Place it the baking tray and spread the filling on top.

Roll the other dough into a round circle. Place that circle over the other dough on the tray and press with your fingers to seal them well. Rest the dough for 10 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, brush the top with some milk and bake it in oven for 25 to 35 mins.
