Nothing better than a cup of hot ginger-lemon tea to ease an aching throat. Ginger's anti-inflammatory properties provide relief and vitamin C in lemons strengthens immunity against pathogens.

You'll need, 4 cups of water, 1 lemon, a 2-inch piece of ginger, and 2 tbsp organic honey.

Add the water to a saucepan and put it on medium heat.

Cut the lemon into thin slices and drop it in the boiling water.

Smash the piece of ginger before dropping it into the water.

Add honey to the hot water and mix well.

Pour the contents of the pan into a thermos and sip it throughout the day.
