Winter season is officially the gajar ka halwa season in Indian households. Let us see how to make this delicious dessert in 4 easy steps.

Step 1

Grate your carrots properly. Heat some ghee in a big, deep pan.

Step 2

When the ghee heats up, add the grated carrots in it. Cook till the carrots change colour and become very mushy.

Step 3

Add sugar in half the amount as the carrots. Add cardamom powder too.

Step 4

Before turning the heat off, add khoa or condensed milk. Top with dry fruits. Your halwa is ready.
