There is no doubt that dosa is among the healthy Indian dishes that one can have every day. However, you can make it healthier by adding spinach to it. This recipe will help you make pala dosa in just a few minutes. Try it out.
½ cup rava 1 bunch palak 4 cups water 1.5 cups rice flour 1-inch ginger 2 chillies 1 teaspoon cumin powder A pinch of hing ½ teaspoon red chilli powder 1 chopped onion Salt to taste 4-6 curry leaves
Start by blanching spinach in a pot of boiling water for just 2 minutes. Drain it off and allow it to cool. Grind it into a smooth paste.
In another bowl, combine rava, rice flour, salt to taste, cumin powder, red chilli powder, and hing.
Add palak puree along with water to make the batter without lumps. Keep it aside for 20 minutes. You can also add ½ a cup of curd to the mixture.
On a hot pan, spread the batter with edges as thin as possible.
Once the base starts to turn brown, the edges will start scraping off the surface. You can add aloo masala or grated paneer at this stage.
Serve hot dosa with sambar and chutney to enjoy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
