Paneer Tikka is a popular appetiser made from marinated paneer cubes grilled to perfection with spices, yoghurt, and vegetables. The smoky flavour, tender texture, and spices make it a delicious vegetarian alternative, often served with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
250 gms paneer (cubed) 1 cup thick yoghurt 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp chaat masala 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp oil Salt Skewers
In a bowl, whisk yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, coriander, chaat masala, lemon juice, oil, and salt.
Add paneer, bell peppers, and onions. Mix gently and marinate for 30 minutes.
Thread marinated paneer, bell peppers, and onions alternately on skewers.
Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C. Place the skewers on a tray and grill for 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through, until charred and golden.
Garnish with lemon wedges, onion rings, and mint chutney.
