Make Dhaba-Style Paneer Bhurji At Home Under 30 Mins

Dhabas are those rustic roadside eateries in India that are known for their hearty and flavourful dishes. One of the popular dhaba dishes is Paneer Bhurji. This is a delightful concoction of crumbled paneer cooked with onions, tomatoes and spices. Recreate this dish in a simpler way at home. Here’s how to do it: 

Ingredients

250g paneer, crumbled 2 medium onions, finely chopped 2 tomatoes, finely chopped 2 green chilies, finely chopped 1-inch ginger, grated 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala 

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy

Step 2

Stir in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook the spices for a minute. 

Step 3

Add crumbled paneer to the pan and mix well with the spice mixture. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the paneer is heated through and well coated with the spices. 

Step 4

Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
