A protein-rich and flavourful curry made with soya chunks, perfect for a nutritious and hearty meal.
200 grams soya chunks 2 tablespoons oil 1 large onion (finely chopped) 2 tomatoes (pureed) 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 teaspoon coriander powder Salt to taste Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Boil water, add soya chunks, and let them soak for 10 minutes. Drain and squeeze out.
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, and finely chopped onion and saute.
Stir in ginger-garlic paste and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, and coriander powder.
Add tomato puree, and soaked soya chunks to the pan. Mix and cook well.
Add water to achieve the desired consistency. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
