Carrot is one of the favourite winter vegetables in India. Transform the orange delight into a tasty snack with this simple recipe. These baked carrot fries are a healthy alternative to your oily potato fries.

1-pound carrots (cut into thin sticks) 1 tablespoon oil 2 teaspoons cornstarch 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper Chopped cilantro

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Combine the carrot sticks in a bowl with oil, cornstarch, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper.

Place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake the carrots for about 20 minutes.

Remember to flip halfway through. Toss the hot fries with chopped cilantro and extra salt.
