Bitter gourd is often discarded by many because of its bitter taste but it is among the most nutritious vegetables, especially for people dealing with diabetes and blood pressure. Here is how you can include it as a part of your snack time.
¼ cup rice flour 3 cups sliced bitter gourd Salt to taste ¼ cup besan Water as needed 1 tbsp corn flour Oil as required 1.5 tsp red chilli powder
After thoroughly washing and drying bitter gourds, thinly slice them without discarding the inner portion.
Mix gram flour, rice flour, and corn flour in a bowl. Add salt to taste and red chilli powder to it.
After adding a tablespoon of oil to the dry mixture and some water, toss bitter gourd slices in it.
Heat oil in a kadhai. You can also add crushed fenugreek seeds to the mixture.
Deep-fry flour-coated slices of bitter gourd in the hot oil until crispy.
Adjust salt and red chilli powder before serving the crunchy chips with chai.
