Pesto Pasta is made with a fresh, aromatic basil pesto sauce. It’s a vibrant, flavourful dish perfect for any meal occasion.
250g pasta (any type) 1 cup fresh basil leaves 1/2 cup pine nuts 1/2 cup grated cheese 2 cloves garlic 1/2 cup olive oil Salt and black pepper to taste
In a large pot of salted water, cook the pasta until soft. Drain and set aside.
In a blender, blend basil leaves, pine nuts, cheese, and garlic until finely chopped.
Add in olive oil and mix until the pesto is smooth and creamy.
Taste the pesto and season with salt and black pepper as needed.
Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce in a large bowl until well-coated.
Serve the pesto pasta warm, garnished with extra cheese and pine nuts.
