Learn how to prepare a flavourful, classic veg sandwich using boiled vegetables, chutney, and a few spices. This Mumbai-inspired recipe combines sweet, salty, and spicy flavours to satisfy any craving!
10 slices of bread (white or whole wheat) 2 small boiled potatoes (sliced) 1 medium boiled beetroot (sliced) 1 cucumber (sliced) 1 onion (sliced) 1 tomato (sliced) Butter (softened) Chaat masala (as required) Black salt (as required) Tomato ketchup (for serving)
Spread butter evenly on each bread slice. Apply a layer of coriander chutney over the buttered bread.
Arrange sliced potato, beetroot, cucumber, onion, and tomato on the bread.
Sprinkle chaat masala and black salt over the vegetable slices.
Cover with another slice of bread, chutney side down.
Slice the sandwich into triangles or rectangles and serve immediately with ketchup.
