Cornbread is a versatile food option that can be enjoyed with honey or paired with a spicy breakfast to balance the flavours. If you want to make cornbread at home, follow these steps.
1 cup maida 1 cup cornmeal 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 cup buttermilk 2 eggs 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup oil 1 teaspoon salt
Mix the dry ingredients like maida, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt together.
Whisk the wet ingredients like buttermilk, eggs, oil, and butter in a separate bowl with sugar.
Gently mix the dry and wet ingredients and whisk till you get a uniform mixture.
Preheat the oven and then bake the cornbread for about half an hour.
Let the cornbread cool before slicing. Spread of honey, jam, or butter and enjoy.
