Are you tired of eating cardboard pastries that don't feel much fresh and are very dry and salted? Don't waste money on these pastries when you can make a fresh, delicious puff pastry with your favourite feelings.
For the Dough: 320g all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 120ml cold water 1 tbsp unsalted butter 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar For the Butter Layer: 225g unsalted butter 1-2 tbsp flour Cheese And Spinach Filling: 1 cup cooked spinach 1/2 cup ricotta or feta cheese 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste
Combine the flour and salt, then add cold water, melted butter, and lemon juice/vinegar. Mix until a rough dough forms.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Roll out the dough and sprinkle the melted butter.
Spoon the filling onto the puff pastry squares, fold, and seal the edges. After the final turn, wrap the dough tightly and bake.
