Punjabi pinni is a winter staple that usually marks the onset of the chill in the air. To make an authentic batch of pinni at home, here is a must-try recipe.
2 cups atta 1 cup ghee 1 cup jaggery ½ cup almonds ¼ cup cashews ¼ cup pistachios 1 tablespoon raisins 1 teaspoon cardamom
Heat some ghee and roast atta till golden brown and fragrant.
Remove the heat, spread the roasted flour on a plate and let it cool.
Once cool, grind the mixture to make a fine powder. Mix in jaggery till well combined.
Add chopped almonds, cashews, pistachios, and raisins. Mix well.
Once combined, shape the mixture into small balls and enjoy.
