Arbi ke patte ke pakode, also known as Colocasia leaf fritters, is a delightful Indian snack that is perfect for monsoons or tea time. So, if you haven’t tried them yet, follow this easy recipe.
1 cup finely chopped arbi ke patte 1/2 cup besan 2 tablespoons dahi ⅛ teaspoon turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon red chilli powder ½ teaspoon coriander powder ½ teaspoon cumin powder 1 pinch asafoetida ½ inch ginger 1 green chilli 5-6 curry leaves Salt to taste Oil for deep frying
Rinse and pat dry arbi ke patte. Finely chop them and set aside.
Mix besan, dahi, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, asafoetida, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves, and salt.
Gradually add water till you get a consistent batter.
Add chopped leaves and coat them well. Heat up some oil and deep-fry till golden brown.
Remove excess oil, transfer the fried pakodas to a tray and serve with a chutney.
