Aloo-matar paratha is the definition of comfort food in winter. Oozing spiced mixture from hot paratha paired with chutney is the ultimate meal to put you in a food coma when the temperature is freezing. Here is how to make it.
2 boiled potatoes 1 cup boiled peas 1 tsp cumin, coriander ½ tsp red chilli, pepper 1 chopped green chilli 1 tsp chopped ginger, garlic ¼ tsp turmeric, garam masala 2 tbsp oil Salt to taste 1 cup flour Water as needed 1 tsp chaat masala
Knead the flour into a soft and sticky dough and keep it aside to rest.
Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger garlic, and green chillies. Add spices and roast them.
Drop peas and saute them until the mixture comes together. Add grated potatoes.
Combine the mixture while mashing the ingredients.
Take a small dough ball and stuff it with a spiced potato and peas mixture.
Roll the dough and roast matar-aloo paratha before serving with chutney and raita.
