Make A Healthy Sooji Cheela For Breakfast

Rava or sooji has a lot of health benefits. It helps with weight loss, provides dietary fibre and contains antioxidants.  Try this simple cheela recipe to start your day right.

Ingredients

1 cup Rava (Sooji) ½ cup Curd (dahi) 1 Capsicum 1 Tomato 1 Green Chilli 1 onion 1 tsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp Black pepper Salt to taste

Step 1

Mix the sooji and curd together and add 1 tsp of red chilli powder, pepper and salt to taste. Chop the vegetables  finely and add them to the batter. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. 

Step 2

Heat a tava and grease it with some oil or ghee. Spread a ladle of the batter, spread it out and let it cook for 5 minutes.  Flip it and cook the other side till lightly browned. Serve hot with chutney.
