For the filling, mix khoya, desiccated coconut and jaggery. Cook for 10 mins and keep aside to cool.
For the dough, mix rice flour with maida in 2:1 proportion. Make a soft dough with lukewarm water.
Make medium sized balls with the dough and carefully stuff it with the filling. Make idli shaped pithe.
Steam the pithe in a momo steamer for about 10 minutes.
Serve the bhapa pithe with patali gur and enjoy your Makar Sankranti.
