To celebrate the Hindu festival Mahashivratri, devotees usually observe a fast. If you are looking for vrat-friendly dishes, here are some no-salt dishes you can quickly make at home.
Potatoes are the go-to ingredients while fasting. Cook some boiled potatoes in a curd-based gravy for a light meal.
Sabudana tikki is another popular vrat-friendly dish that is popularly made while fasting for Shivratri.
For a salad bowl, you can take chopped beetroot and mix it with other veggies with a squeeze of lemon.
For a South Indian meal, make dosa with a batter made with kuttu atta, green chillies, water, and sendha namak.
Meethe pude are traditionally made with wheat flour. But while fasting, you can make them with kutta atta.
