This 4-ingredient pickle is an oil-free recipe that eliminates the amount of effort involved in making a batch of homemade pickle during the summer. Loaded with vitamin C and packed with all kinds of flavour, tap to see the full recipe for this sweet-spicy-tangy condiment.
25 yellow lemons ½ cup spicy red chilli powder 1.5 cups salt 1.5 cups sugar
Wash and dry all the lemons before cutting each one into eight pieces.
Add them to a dry bowl along with the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly for the seasoning to coat the pieces fully.
Transfer to a sterilised, air-tight jar and rest for 5 days in the sun, stirring once everyday.
Continue to store the jar in a clean kitchen spot and let the ingredients marinate for 25 days before you can taste it.
