Maharashtrian Kolambi Sukat: A Condiment Made With Dried Prawns

INGREDIENTS

1 cup dried prawns 2 tablespoons fried onion 1 tablespoon fried garlic 1 teaspoon red chilli powder ½ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 2 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon salt

STEP 1

Heat the oil in a pan and toast the dried prawns until brown and crunchy.

STEP 2

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well to combine, cooking further for a couple of minutes.

STEP 3

Cool completely before storing in an air-tight jar.
