Macher Dimer Bora aka Fish egg fritters are one of the most common foods of any Bengali household. They are a powerhouse of nutrients and is tasty as well as heathy. They are made with a blend of aromatic spices and flavours that tantalize your taste buds.

500gm Fish Eggs 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 3 tbsp besan / chickpea flour 1 onion - chopped 3 green chillis - chopped Handful of chopped coriander 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 1 cup mustard oil for frying

Clean the fish egg. Make sure not to use a lot of water or soak and break the egg sac.

Mix all the ingredients with the fish eggs

Do not mash or overmix otherwise it will become too watery

Heat mustard oil till it becomes smoking hot

Reduce flame to medium.Drop the fish egg batter in small batches
