Mango panna cotta is a mouth-watering layered dessert that combines the goodness of panna cotta and the tropical taste of mangoes. The best part is that the refreshing dessert is really easy to make. Here’s a step-wise recipe you can follow.
For Panna Cotta: 6 grams gelatin powder 30 ml water or milk 1 cup milk 1 cup heavy cream 50 grams sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste For the Mango Panna Cotta: 4 large mangoes 5 grams gelatin powder 25 ml water or milk
Start by making the panna cotta by whisking gelatin powder and water or milk as per your preference. Set aside for about 15 minutes till the gelatin softens.
Mix milk, heavy cream, and sugar and heat them till the sugar dissolves.
Turn off the heat and add the vanilla bean paste. Then, add the softened gelatin and stir till everything is mixed. Strain to get a smooth texture.
Pour the panna cotta into glasses and refrigerate for about 4 hours.
Then, make the mango layer by blending mangoes till you get a smooth puree. Heat the puree with gelatin till it’s mixed, and then let it set.
Add the mango puree to the panna cotta glasses and refrigerate for about 3 more hours till set
