Love Podi? Try Paryushan-Friendly Podi Masala

Ingredients

1 cup urad dal 1 cup chana dal ¼ cup toovar dal 1 cup boria mirch 1 cup Kashmiri mirch 1 tbsp hhing ½ tbsp turmeric powder Salt to taste Handful of curry leaves

Step 1

Roast urad dal, chana dal, toovar dal, curry leaves, boria chilli and Kashmiri red chilli separately.

Step 2

Keep all the ingredients aside to cool down. Transfer everything into a grinder and make a fine powder.

Now, add hing, turmeric powder and salt. Grind into a fine powder.

Store this podi in an airtight container and enjoy it with idli or dosa.
