Banana chips are among the healthiest snacks, and the best kinds are prepared across Kerala. The thin and crispy slices topped with pepper, salt, and all kinds of spice blends are the ultimate solution to your hunger in between meals. Follow this guide to make them at home.
4 cups water 4 raw bananas 1 tsp crushed pepper Salt as needed Oil for deep-frying
Add water in a bowl and place a mandoline slicer over it.
Peel the skins of bananas, and slice them using the tool.
Drain the water and spread the bananas over a paper towel.
You can also bake them a bit to get rid of excess oil.
Add the banana slices to the hot oil and cook until crispy.
You can air fry the slices if you want to avoid oil. Sprinkle salt and pepper before munching.
