Lord Krishna's khichdi is the easiest yet most comforting dish you can make. Let us look at the recipe.

Step 1

Boil rice, urad dal and moong dal in the pressure cooker without salt.

Step 2

In a pan, heat up ghee and roast some cashew and peanuts and keep them aside.

Step 3

In the same pan, heat ghee and add fennel seeds, jeera, hing, pepper, grated ginger and curry leaves.

Step 4

After they splutter, add to the boiled rice and dal, along with salt as per your taste.

Step 5

Add the roasted peanuts and cashew nuts. Garnish with tulsi leaf and offer to Lord Krishna. Later, consume as prasad.
