Bhindi is a low calorie veggie in general and when you add the goodness of curd, it automatically becomes a summer favourite. Here is a simple recipe for the dish.
200 gms bhindi 1 cup curd 1 tbsp jeera powder 1 tsp dhaniya powder 1 tsp red mirch powder 1 tbsp garam masala 1 chopped onion 1 chopped tomato 2 green chillies Salt as per taste Mustard oil
Slice the bhindi and heat up mustard oil in a pan. Add the bhindi along with onion and tomato.
In a bowl, add dahi and all the spices except salt. Add a little water and mix well.
Meanwhile, add salt and haldi in the bhindi. Cook till its no longer moist and then add the spiced curd.
Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes on medium flame. Enjoy with steamed rice.
