Craving for something spicy and healthy? Here is a recipe to make oil-free pakoras at home.
1 cup mixed chopped vegetables (potatoes, bell pepper etc),2 green chillies, 1 onion, coriander leaves, spices (cumin, coriander powder, turmeric, and red chilli powder), ½ cup gram flour, a pinch of baking soda, and salt
Mix the flour with water to make a thick batter. Add the spices & baking soda and mix well. Then add veggies and coriander leaves and mix again.
Heat a non-stick pan, add a spoonful of the batter and spread it out to make a small circle. Let it cook for a few minutes.
Then flip it over and cook the other side. Repeat the process with the remaining batter and serve them hot with chutney.
