Finding a healthy recipe these days is a task. Whether for breakfast or a snack, if you wish to consume a nutritious dish, go for an oats omelette. It is a perfect blend of essential nutrients along with protein and fibre.
¼ cup oats 2 eggs A pinch of turmeric ¼ tsp black pepper 3-4 tbsp milk 2 tsp butter Salt to taste ¼ tsp oregano 2 tbsp onions & capsicums 2 tbsp grated carrot & tomatoes 2 chopped green chillies 1 tbsp coriander leaves
In a bowl, mix oats, oregano, pepper, turmeric, and salt to taste. Add milk and keep it aside.
Add eggs to the oats mixture and beat them until they become frothy.
In a pan, heat some oil and saute vegetables. When the veggies get cooked, pour the eggs and oats mixture.
Cover the pan and cook on medium heat. Once the base is done, flip the omelette to cook the other side.
Serve the oats omelette warm with a fresh glass of juice.
