Looking For A Healthy Breakfast? Make Egg Burrito

This crunchy and savoury recipe is perfect for a healthy start of the day.

Ingredients

5 eggs, salt to taste, black pepper powder to taste, 2 tbsp milk, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp olive oil, 4 tortillas, 8 tbsp cooked rice, 1 boiled carrot, 4 tsp red chilli sauce, a few lettuce leaves

Step 1

Break the eggs into a bowl. Add salt, black pepper powder and whisk. Add milk and butter and whisk again. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.

Step 2

Pour the egg mixture and cook, stirring continuously, to make scrambled eggs. Place a tortilla on the work top. Place two tbsp of rice at one end of the tortilla. Top it with the scrambled eggs.

Step 3

Place the carrot strips over and drizzle some chilli sauce. Sprinkle some lettuce leaves and roll the tortilla tightly. Halve each roll diagonally and serve.
