Lohri, the Punjabi harvest festival, calls for making traditional dishes and desserts. One of the Lohri-special sweets you can make is til laddu. Follow this recipe to make it at home.
1 cup til 1/2 cup gur 1/4 cup roasted peanuts 1/4 cup chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins) 1 tablespoon ghee Pinch of cardamom powder
Heat some ghee and dry roast til till they are golden brown.
In a separate kadhai, melt gur. Then add roasted til, peanuts, and chopped nuts.
Once mixed, add some ghee and cardamom powder.
Let the mixture cool and shape them into laddus.
Serve and store the rest in an airtight container.
