During Lohri and Makar Sankranti, til ladoo is a popular delight prepared across North India. It is associated with improving overall well-being and providing the body with the warmth to fight against cold.
1 cup jaggery ½ cup white sesame ½ cup black sesame 2 tbsp cashews 2 tbsp peanuts ½ tsp cardamom powder ½ cup water
Dry roast white and black sesame seeds. Keep them aside.
Dry roast cashews and peanuts. Remove the skin of peanuts.
Prepare a sweet solution of jaggery and water.
Turn off the flame and drop sesame seeds, peanuts, and cashews into the mix
Sprinkle cardamom powder and combine well.
Shape the mixture into ladoos and enjoy these during celebrations.
