With the lively Lohri festive just around the corner in 2024, why not add a modern twist to your traditional celebrations with a homemade No Grind Gajak? This easy recipe combines the rich flavors of jaggery, sesame seeds, and nuts, offering a tasty treat for the auspicious occasion.

1 cup sesame seeds 1 cup crushed jaggery ½ cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, and pistachios), chopped 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter) A pinch of cardamom powder
Roast sesame seeds in a pan until golden brown. Set it aside. In the same pan, melt ghee and add crushed jaggery. Stir until it melts into a smooth syrup.
Add the roasted sesame seeds, chopped nuts, and cardamom powder. Mix well. Quickly spread the mixture onto a greased tray.
Allow it to cool and set before cutting it into square pieces. Your No-Grind Gajak is ready to be enjoyed during the festive Lohri celebrations!
