Uttapam is an Indian-style savoury pancake that is healthier and more delicious. Often served with sambar and coconut chutney, it is a perfect pick for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Try the onion uttapam recipe.
Idli dosa batter 2 large onions chopped 1 green chilli chopped 2 tbsp grated carrot 2 tbsp coriander leaves Ghee as needed
Save the idli-dosa batter and keep it aside for uttapam.

Chop or grate the vegetables before you start making uttapams.
Heat a skillet and add a ladle of batter to it.
Maintain the thickness and sprinkle vegetables on it.
Press the veggies into the batter using the back of a spatula.

Roast onion uttapam on both sides and enjoy it hot.
