Have you eaten tteokbokki and been a fan of Korean food since then? They are made of rice cakes which you can use in a variety of ways to create your comforting recipes. Here is how you can make them.
¾ cups hot water 1 cup short-grain rice flour 2 tsp toasted sesame oil ½ tsp salt
Take a bowl and combine rice flour, water, and salt. It should make a crumbly mixture.
Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap but leave some space on the side for the steam to escape.
Cook the ingredients for 2 minutes and give the ingredients a good stir. Cover with the wrap again and cook again for a couple of minutes.
Drizzle sesame oil and transfer the ingredients to a silicon flour mat. Keep pounding it until it comes together.
Knead the dough and divide it into four parts. Roll each one into cylinders and cut them to the desired height.
Coat each of them with sesame oil and store them in a ziplock bag. Use as per convenience.
