When you order French fries at a restaurant, they turn out crispy and delicious, but when you make them at home, they don’t taste the same. This quick guide will help you make restaurant-style fries at home.
3.5 cups of cold water 400 grams of potatoes ½ tsp red chilli powder Oil for frying Salt as needed
Peel potatoes and cut them into the shape of fries.
Add potatoes to cold water and keep them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Drain excess water and spread potatoes on a dry paper towel.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a kadhai. Add fries to the pan and cook them for just 3-4 minutes.
Take fries out and let them cool off. Deep-fry the sticks again after 10-15 minutes until they are crispy.
Toss them with salt and chilli powder. Enjoy!
