Kitchen cabinets can turn oily and greasy, which can be annoying. Here are some tips for removing oil without much fuss!
For greasy surfaces, warm, soapy water mostly does the work. Before cleaning with a sponge dipped in soapy water, first soften the grease on the cabinets with a sponge dampened with warm water and then use the soap solution.
White vinegar has natural acids. So you can wipe the cabinets with the vinegar and let them rest for 10 minutes. Later, wipe the cabinets with a damp sponge.
Make a solution from one cup of white vinegar, a few drops of liquid soap, and a tablespoon of baking soda. Put the solution in a spray bottle, spray on the greasy surfaces, and wipe it off with a towel
Take a lemon and cut it into two halves. Rub the pieces on the greasy surfaces, and then wipe them off with soapy water and a cloth.
Wood cabinets need extra care after cleaning. Beeswax-based protective treatments could be used to prevent the wood from drying out and to ward against grease.
Clean the stovetop and cabinet doors once a week to prevent grease from accumulating on kitchen cabinets. To get rid of any fresh grease stains, just use a soft cloth and degreaser.
