This dish combines the tangy lemon flavours with the nutty sweetness of tender green chickpeas. Tempered with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and spices, this makes for a wholesome one-pot meal.
1 cup cooked rice 1 tsp Lemon juice Green chickpeas boiled Sliced onions 2 tsp roasted peanuts 1 tbsp oil 2 curry leaves 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1/4 tsp pplit urad dal 1 dry red chilli 0.13 tsp turmeric 1/4 tsp garam masala Salt
Take oil in a kadhai and let it heat up on medium flame. Add jeera, mustard seeds, dry urad dal when it starts crackling add dry red chilli then curry leaves saute for 30 seconds.

Then add roasted peanuts and saute it for 30 seconds. Add sliced onion and saute it till ur desired browning.
Add boiled green chickpeas (cholia) I had used fresh ones then u can use soaked and boiled dry ones and saute for a while then add garam masala, haldi, and salt.
Add cooked rice mix all together and put 1-2 tsp of water and cover it with a lid for 1min. At low flame.
Then add lemon juice and switch off the flame mix all together and cover it for a while.
Rest it for 5 -7 to get a proper taste of the lemon in the rice. Serve it hot with curd.
