This delicious and wholesome sweet treat is a popular winter delicacy in the Northern part of India. Here is an easy recipe to make it at home.
1 cup gond, 1 cup wheat flour, 1/4 cup almonds, 1/4 cup cashews, 1 cup makhana, 1 desiccated coconut, 1 tsp cardamom powder, 1 cup sugar powder, ghee as required
Heat ghee in a pan and fry the gond and keep it aside. Roast almonds, cashews and makhana one by one in a pan and let it cool down.
Heat another tsp of ghee in a pan and add wheat flour and fry it well. Coarsely grind almonds and cashews and makhana.
Crush the gond with the help of a ladle put in a bowl. Add dry fruits, makhana and roasted flour, powdered sugar and cardamom powder.
Heat a spoonful of ghee and put it in it and make laddus by mixing all the things well with your hands.
And it’s ready to serve. Store the remaining ladoos in an airtight container.
