Learn To Make Chicken Shorba At Home

Make this comforting soup at home to stay warm during winter.

Ingredients

500 gm chicken bones (cleaned & washed), 100 gm boneless chicken (cut into ½ inch cubes), 10 garlic cloves (chopped), 1 tsp butter, 1 tbsp oil, ½ tsp cumin seeds, 1 ½ tbsp refined flour (maida), white pepper powder to taste, salt to taste

Step 1

Put chicken bones in a pot, add 4 ¼ cup water and garlic and cook till the water is reduced to 2 1/2 cups. Strain and set aside.

Step 2

Heat butter in a pan and stir fry chicken pieces till tender. Heat the oil in another pan and add cumin seeds.

Step 3

Then, add refined flour and cook for a minute stirring continuously. Add the reduced chicken stock, chicken pieces, white pepper powder and salt.

Step 4

Simmer for three to four minutes and serve hot.
