Ingredients: 1 tsp ghee 2 onions, finely chopped 2 tomatoes, finely chopped 100 gms beans 1 ½ tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp turmeric 3 dried red chillies 2 tsp tamarind pulp 2 tsp jaggery 3 tsp bisi bele bhath powder 1 ½ cup rice 1 cup toor dal Handful of curry leaves Salt to taste

Saute ghee, veggies, dried red chilli, curry leaves, red chilli powder, and turmeric. Pressure cook for at least 4-5 whistles with rice and dal. Once cooked add tamarind pulp, jaggery, bisi bela bath powder and salt. Give it a good stir and let it simmer for 5-6 minutes. Enjoy a plate of bisi bela bath with curd on the side.
