Ingredients:1 tsp ghee2 onions, finely chopped2 tomatoes, finely chopped100 gms beans1 ½ tsp red chilli powder1 tsp turmeric3 dried red chillies2 tsp tamarind pulp2 tsp jaggery3 tsp bisi bele bhath powder1 ½ cup rice1 cup toor dalHandful of curry leavesSalt to taste
Saute ghee, veggies, dried red chilli, curry leaves, red chilli powder, and turmeric.Pressure cook for at least 4-5 whistles with rice and dal.Once cooked add tamarind pulp, jaggery, bisi bela bath powder and salt.Give it a good stir and let it simmer for 5-6 minutes.Enjoy a plate of bisi bela bath with curd on the side.
