4 large potato, cold water for rinsing, oil for frying, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp salt

Ingredients

Peel the skin of potato and cut into 1 cm thick sticks, then rinse in ice cold water until the starch runs out clean..

Step 1

Pat dry in kitchen towel to remove excess moisture and deep fry in hot oil until the potatoes turn tender..

Step 2

Drain off over kitchen towel and cool completely, now deep fry in hot oil again, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Fry until it turns golden brown and crisp and drain off to remove excess oil.

Now sprinkle chilli powder and salt, mix well and enjoy.
