Learn How To Make Amla Murabba With Jaggery At Home

Ingredients

500g fresh amla, washed and dried 500g jaggery, grated 1 tsp black salt (optional) 1 tsp black pepper powder (optional) 1 tsp roasted cumin powder (optional) 1 tsp cardamom powder (optional) 

Step 1  

Prick the washed and dried amla with a fork or toothpick. In a large pan, combine grated jaggery with amla and cook on low heat until the jaggery melts and forms a syrupy consistency. 

Step 2

Add optional spices like black salt, black pepper, roasted cumin powder, and cardamom powder for added flavour. Stir occasionally and simmer until the amla becomes soft and the syrup thickens. 

Step 3

Allow the mixture to cool completely before storing it in clean, airtight jars. Enjoy Amla Murabba with Jaggery as a nutritious snack or as a side dish with meals.
