Ingredients

1 cup grated bottle gourd (lauki) 1/2 cup besan (gram flour) 1 green chilli 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for frying

Step 1

Combine grated bottle gourd, besan, green chilli, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt. Make a smooth batter.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat.

Step 3

Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot pan and spread it evenly.

Step 4

Cook the chilla for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Step 5

Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
