1 cup bottle gourd peel 1 tsp oil ¼ tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp poppy seeds Salt, to taste Pepper, optional Green chillies, optional

Wash the bottle gourd peel and chop them as finely as possible.

Heat oil in a pan, then add the mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Now add the bottle gourd peel and stir fry for a minute.
Add the poppy seeds, salt, pepper and green chillies to taste and cook until the peels are crispy.

Serve the Lau Khosha Bhaja with dal and rice, or enjoy it just as a snack.
