Sweet pumpkin mash is a bengali delicacy which is enjoyed with steamed rice. This recipe blends sweet and hotness together which tantalise our taste buds. Pumpkin is packed with Vitamin A and C which are vital for immune system. It also has a significant amount of dietary fibres. Tap to know the recipe:

Half sweet pumpkin sliced 2 tbsp mustard oil Salt to taste A pinch of turmeric powder 4-5 cloves of garlic 2 raw onions 2 dry red chillies Chopped coriander leaves

Slice the pumpkin and roast on a tawa with little mustard oil. Add little salt & turmeric, and you can add little water and cover to soften the pumpkin slices fully.

Fry some garlic and dried red chilli in mustard oil and mash together.

Next lightly mash the roasted pumpkin slices, add sliced raw onion, chopped coriander. Adjust salt and drizzle mustard oil to finish off with.
