Kothimbir Vadi is a popular Maharashtrian snack known for its savoury flavour and crispy texture. It is a perfect monsoon snack, along with a cup of tea. Here's a recipe for you to try:

Ingredients

1 cup of chopped coriander leaves 1 cup of besan 2 green, chopped chillies 2 minced cloves of garlic 1 teaspoon minced ginger 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds 1 teaspoon sesame seeds 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste Water Oil for frying

Step 1

Combine coriander, besan, chillies, garlic, ginger, cumin, sesame, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, salt, and water to form a thick batter.

Step 2

Pour the batter into a greased dish and steam for 15-20 minutes. Let it cool.

Step 3

Cut into pieces and pan-fry with a little oil until golden brown on both sides.

Step 4

Enjoy it hot with green or tamarind chutney.
